Hello, my name is Matthew, and I am located in Ellicott City, Maryland. I attended the University of Maryland in College Park, where I earned my undergraduate degree in accounting from the nationally accredited accounting program at the university's R.H. Smith School of Business. The program requires an understanding of economics, advanced accounting, and mathematics, including calculus. I have always been interested in math and business; I am a third generation accountant who specializes in auditing. My accounting career provided me the opportunity to work with small and large businesses from Washington, D.C. and throughout the Northeast. I moved on from accounting to co-own and operate a studio, where I teach private music lessons. Outside of mathematics and teaching, my interests and hobbies include playing guitar, songwriting, music composition, drawing, painting, and hiking.I enjoy teaching and am excited to help students with math and business-related coursework.
