My love for literature is not pretentious. I love Dr. Seuss as much as Ray Bradbury, and I can appreciate the beauty of a book even when I loathe the content. Thankfully, my children and stepchildren have also come to appreciate/ love a good story. My eldest, 13, tries to tackle the books I'm reading, so we can discuss. Often, I simply read his current selections in order to inspire a more in-depth reading. Additionally, I have a keen eye for detail and organization in composition, and as a college instructor, I know what schools expect from students and what they seek in candidates. As a student working on my second Master's Degree, I have excellent research skills and thoroughly enjoy helping others through the research and writing process.
