Experience
I enjoy tutoring many different subjects and making the experience enjoyable for my students. I believe that students retain information better when the learning experience is pleasant and supportive. My strongest teaching areas are physics and math. I love guiding students in political science and government, and I find that the discussions we have on these topics are helpful for engaging the learner's mind. My approach is to bring relevant examples from real life into my lessons. I speak Korean, and I am happy to speak Korean with any student who wishes to. Some of the other subjects I like to teach are calculus, psychology, chemistry, and computer science. After graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in 2008, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, I was employed doing government contract work for five years. After that, I decided to change careers. During my college years, and for a few years afterward, I tutored students of different levels, who ranged in age from nine through 21. I found this to be a very rewarding experience.Besides tutoring, I like to spend time reading about psychology and playing golf and basketball with friends. My other hobbies include cooking and watching "Bizarre Foods" for fun.
